Relief for Sore Muscles
I'm experiencing sore muscles as a result of working out at the gym, and that's a good thing. Many of those muscles haven't been worked in a while, and it's neat to remember that they are there. One thing that has brought relief to the tight and sore spots is a body rub that I've made with a pantry oil and essential oils. It takes minutes to make this up and it smells great!
Grab your carrier oil of choice. My favorite to use in a rollerball is grape seed oil. Unlike olive oil, it is not thick and greasy, and I can get a big container at Costco for a small price. Make up your Muscle Rub with this in mind: Use 4 parts carrier oil to 1 part essential oil. This is my standard dilution for most EO recipes I use on our entire family. The 4:1 ratio allows the oils to penetrate the area and spreads the solution all over.
